Betty Green

When Betty and Doug became empty nesters from Maryland, searching for a retirement location, they made one visit to Wintergreen and were blown away by the beauty of the area and all that this unique community has to offer. They decided to trade the water for the mountains, bought a homesite at an elevation of 2000 feet, and built a home in 2000. After many years of helping buyers and sellers in Maryland to realize their goals and dreams of living on or near the water, Betty has brought her real estate sales experience to the Wintergreen area. She finds it a joy to introduce new owners to this unique and very strong community and the spectacular recreational opportunities which are part of Wintergreen Resort. Betty is a native of Baltimore, a graduate of Smith College, with a Master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University.      

Betty can often be found on one of the two golf courses here in her spare time, on the walking trails, gardening, volunteering with the Nature Foundation, or playing bridge with friends.
