It is often 15 degrees cooler (or more) on the mountain.
2. July 4th Celebrations
Celebrating our proud nation’s 250th birthday this July 4th with music, local vendors, food, drink, activities for the family, lift rides, and fireworks is the way to go.
3. Wintergreen Music Festival
The Wintergreen Music Festival has events for lovers of many different musical genres throughout July. Music with coffee–check. Music with wine–check. Music with guided hikes–check. 4. Nelson County Farmer’s Market
The Nelson County Farmer’s Market features the bounty of the summer from local farmers and artisans every Saturday morning from 8 am–noon right next door to the Wintergreen Real Estate office in Stoney Creek. This is a must-do.
